in a tough year for the world in many ways, this painted gourd ornament we grew and made in better days is extracted from the attic storage box and rehung on our small Christmas tree this morning, as we trim the small tree with the help of our two visiting college student children.This ornament speaks to me. It was threaded with a glitter pipe cleaner strand, through two holes punched in the gourd. One of the holes has torn out, but with the aid of the wire inside the pipe cleaner it was hung by one strand. It held on well.
