Birthday girl Denise last evening
making thank-you notes
for the volunteers
who did yard clean-up with her
for elderly recipients
through the joint Interfaith
organization.
She works at the six foot round
all-purpose table
made of 2 x 4's
glued together and cut round,
still in service,
now at the Odd Fellows.
The cards Dee made
this time
since the yard work done
involved leaf-raking
have onion-skin rubbings
of leaves.
Maybe you will receive one.
Or you may have gotten some other
hand-made card over the years
from Dee.
I would save them.
