People are asking, having seen yesterday's Bear Feet posting, what are those three fellows on your shelf? They are luminaires from Haiti, via a long-ago purchase from the 3rd world gift shop here in Waukesha, Plowshares.The figures were made from scrap iron. The palm tree behind them is actually a bracket for the shelf they're standing on that we also made from scrap iron. Small world.
