An old friend HAWK MAHONEY and I had breakfast at Dave’s Cafe recently..
We’ve been friends since around 1980. The Mahoneys lived across the street from the Dixes then. In fact, the sewer raccoons made their first appearances to us emerging and exiting via the sewer grate on the Mahoney corner, not ours. We watched the raccoons comings and goings through our window facing the Mahoney's.
We’ve gone on in our lives and have been taken to other addresses, but our friendship is solid and has lasted.
