Drinking from a Mason jar + related topics:

Sure, there are plenty of regular glasses around here, but lately I've taken to using one of my grandmother's old 'Perfect' Mason jars from the basement shelves. When I handle it it feels good. The molded glass screw edge gives something to grab onto insuring non-slippage. And when I use it I am subliminably touching once again the many contents that jar held over the many years.

Shown here, it is holding orange juice with ice filled with the canning funnel behind, and my color-coordinated lunch, a box of Kraft Deluxe macaroni dinner. Still some of the best food you can get.
