Alas, poor Louie, I knew him not

SRN 12-19-08 According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, accordion great Louie Bushell has died. How do we take the news? We had never gone to any of the Milwaukee venues where he played his squeeze-box over many many years. He was a Milwaukee institution. He created much happiness for many. Of the genre of Heinie and the Grenadiers, Louie Bushell knew his stuff, we were always advised. Now it is too late to go hear him.
