RUNES
Pictured left is Skara Brae on the mainland of Orkney, Scotland. It dates back 9,500 years.
On the right is Tom L.'s former cream city brick structure in Miwaukee, Wisconsin, dated circa 2003, when he migrated to the Pacific Northwest with The Buddha.
The laying up of bricks and stones and the temporariness of it all and everything has my interest today. All things are being pulled back to the earth, (not only) I have found. Everything has an expiration date on it. Ah, the whimsy of it all. It's a theme to be repeated again and again in this little effort.
Gauzy whimsy................
Do the sewer raccoons have a fix on this irrevocability? Maybe that's why they take shelter where they do.
